About The Website
I created this website with the purpose of creating a space for myself online outside of the horrid place that social media has become.
I had known about Neocities for a while, but I wasn't particularly engaged, until I watched this video.
It really resonated with me since I had recently deleted all my socials from my phone and was just done with everything about social media. At the same time, I was learning how to crochet and wanted to have a place where I could document my crocheting journey. All these factors led to the creation of this website :)
Content
In this website, you will mostly find lengthy blog posts about my interests, which are listed in the navigation bar in the main page, but I'm not restricting this website to just that. I will add new posts when I have a specific topic I want to write about, but I will also include shrines and other fun stuff where I can just yap about whatever I want without a blog format.
All the content in this website is safe for work and for people under 18. If I do ever write about more sensitive topics, I will make sure to add the necessary warnings at the beginning of the post.
I will not be adding a guestbook or a chatroom to this website, as it is something I don't feel comfortable with. I see this website purely as a creative outlet for me to write about my favorite things and do whatever I want. I'm also a big introvert, even online.
Design, Development & Deployment
The design of this website is not directly inspired by the old web aesthetic, I'm just trying to express my personal style and have fun!
This website was developed and designed by me and it only uses raw HTML and CSS. The IDE I use is VSCode and the tool I used to deploy the website was Deploy To Neocities.
I am currently working on making the website responsive for different screens. Currently, it is not suited for mobile.
All the assets and fonts used are credited in the credits page. I also linked other Neocities websites that inspired me. To view the assets I created, you can view the my assets page. Feel free to use them, though credit is appreciated (no hotlinking pls).
Important Note: If I used an asset you created and did not provide the due credit, please inform me through my neocities profile.
